Living Spaces and Shelter

This course focuses on the different types of
living spaces, forms of shelter to meet people’s
physical, social, emotional, and cultural needs
and reflect society’s values, cultural impact on
the environment, utilization of space and occupational
opportunities. Students will learn how to make
practical decisions about where to live and how to
create a functional and pleasing environment. They will
also learn skills used in researching and investigating
living accommodations and housing.
