This course explores what clothing communicates
about the wearer and how it becomes a creative and
entrepreneurial outlet through the design and production
processes. There will be a study of textiles and their
application to clothing. Students will investigate how
a social group/culture has influenced fashion and design.
They will make a garment and fashion accessory and be
responsible for purchasing their own fabric and notions
required for their garments.
