This course introduces students to the
scope of the manufacturing industry, the
industrial tools and equipment used, as well
as methods of manufacturing, including
assembly-line production.
Course areas of focus are the applications
of the machining process as they apply to
manufacturing metal parts; assemblies with an
emphasis on precise measurement and testing;
manufacturing technologies, such as casting
and CAM(Computer Assisting Machinery).
