Manufacturing Technology

This course helps familiarize students with
the broad range of career opportunities within
the manufacturing sector. Students will acquire
design and fabrication skills using a variety of
materials, tools, equipment and processes, and will
construct products that adhere to design specifications
and meet quality control standards. In addition to
developing employability and technical skills, students
will develop an understanding of the impact of the
manufacturing sector on the consumers, society, and
the environment. Course materials will also be developed
around Blueprint Reading, CAD and CAD/CAM.

Prerequisites: TMJ 2O1 – 1 Credit
