5. Open Questions: Inquiry as to the protocol when a teacher is believed to be ineffective and not engaging in the classroom. M. Sherman encourages students to speak to the teacher and if this is not satisfactory to speak to Admin. This could be referred to the Curriculum Leader by Admin. Most incidents are resolved at this level.  Mr. Sherman re-inforced there is a difference between being competent and personable. Does not expect students to like all their teachers equally.

Inquiry about school’s bus for activities- all teams and clubs have access to the school’s bus, however priority is given to the team with the largest number of students requiring transportation due to feasibility.  Some fees for the bus are covered through the General Student Fees – the rest through fundraising. Admin does not recommend that  Teachers drive students to activities in their own vehicles.
