Study Notes
When a person
says the word “study” words tend to pop into your mind. Some of these words may
include procrastination, not happening, impossible and whatever. Or, there is the
all time famous one, “Did you study for the test today?” “Test What Test?”
The following are
guidelines with methods on how to study. Since different people have different
techniques for studying what works for one person perhaps may not appeal to another.
Therefore, your best bet would be to try each one out until you find one that
grabs your attention.
Method #1 – Don’t
wait until the last minute to study. It’s impossible and we both know you’re
not going to learn anything valuable from it.
Method #2 – Turn
off the television. It will distract you regardless of how many times you
remind yourself not to look at it. Let’s face it, temptation is far to great to
resist.
Method #3 – Have
a clean working environment. This way there is nothing to distract you from
your concentration.
Method #4 –
Sometimes music helps people to remember their notes much easier. The type of
genre varies from one person to the next.
Method #5 – Be
creative. Come up with different ways to study instead of just taking notes or
trying to memorize it.
So, next time
your teacher announces that there is a test coming up take these guidelines
into consideration. Since everyone knows that studying isn’t fun it should be
so that you are willing to study and consider pleasure. You might as well make
the most of it and keep on dreaming.
